The Rummagers Announces Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on September 15th, 2023

Vintage Shopping & Local Featured Artists in the Heart of Midtown

Harrisburg, PA, September 6th, 2023

The Rummagers will be opening its doors for the first time on September 15, 2023. The public is invited to celebrate the occasion by browsing the large range of items from clothing, vinyl, collectibles, toys, trading cards, video games, home decor, and more. A ribbon cutting will be held at 4:30pm to start. The Rummagers is situated in the old Good Brotha’s Book Cafe space at 1419 N 3rd St, Harrisburg, PA 17102.

The grand opening includes a special storewide promo, giveaways, and an exclusive collection from their first featured local artist, Phil George aka “Phil The Thrill”.

The Rummagers is a modern vintage shop that aims to allow consumers to access nostalgia while keeping quality items out of landfills. In addition to vintage items, The Rummagers will stock modern collectibles that align with pop culture style.

“Whether you’re a lifelong collector, a casual thrifter, or searching for a fun gift, The Rummagers has a little something for everyone. Even your kids (or the inner child in you) will enjoy our collection!” said Krista Harper, owner and CEO.

Husband and wife team Krista Harper (local photographer/marketer) and Nipsey (morning radio host of The People’s Morning Show on 105.7 The X) share the mission of providing a fun retail shopping experience for local Harrisburg city residents, a travel destination for collectors, and a way to support and feature local artists.

“I’ve waited a lifetime to share my love of collecting,“ said Nipsey. “Overall, we want to preserve artifacts of human history and help people discover (and rediscover!) nostalgic pieces to add to their collections. These items are alive and well. They’re simply waiting for their rummager.”
